Player Races

Norsinovia is a campaign setting in which human is the only available initial player character race.

Native Norsinovan

Native Norsinovans are humans who have been born and raised on the Norsinovan continent. They account for the majority of the population at this point in history, though only two generations earlier this would not have been the case. They are hardy, resilient folk with simple tastes and sentiments, well suited to life in wilderness around them.

Overall, immigrants account for a minority portion of the general population and tend to gravitate to different places of Norsinovia based on their backgrounds. Poorer immigrants tend to migrate to the outer regions of Norsinovia looking for opportunities. The more wealthy immigrants tend towards the larger city centers.

They are generally darker in complexion than Norsinovans of Einovan ancestry, with dark olive skin, brown or black hair, and brown or green eyes. Vash who have blue eyes instantly betray a mixing of the bloodline with someone not of Vash ancestry.

  • Bonus Feat: Restless Soul – Characters with the Restless Soul feat benefit from the effects of a healing surge during a short rest regardless of whether or not they have any surges remaining. EXAMPLE: Katia and her company has just fought a group of bandits and she spent all 5 of her healing surges during the battle. When the encounter is over, there is only time for a short rest (5 minutes) before they have to move on. Despite having 0 healing surges left, Katia recovers 1/4 of her maximum hit points. If Katia had any surges left she could choose to spend them to recover extra hit points.
